My little sister has been growing so much this past year that she's growing out of all her dresses! So, in my spare time lately, I've been adding material, ruffle, etc. to make her dresses longer. :) This particular dress it one that I cut out of a skirt. I used one of her other dresses as a pattern for the bodice and just gathered the skirt enough to fit the bodice. Viola! :)
Here is the bottom edge of the dress-- same hem as the skirt! Then there is an up close of the little funny mirrors that are all over the material. Next is a picture of the stitching I did for the neck of the dress.
Coming soon are some pictures of the projects we are currently working on!
Thoughts? What would you have done? Something different? An addition? :)
End of the Matter

New Project Finished!
I just finished this mini afghan. :) I have some extra yarn from other projects that needed using up! So I made this little blanket to use as a gift for a future baby....
Here's a flower in the middle- to add an extra touch...
Patterns of Summer colors :)
Edging- just chains of 3 and alternating single crochet and slip-stitch. I really like how it turned out!

Dear Maggie's Ear Warmer
I made this one for my Grandmother. But the name means something else.... something that will be revealed eventually. :)

The Bramble Stitch
Quite a hard stitch as it involves a lot of counting, but it leaves with you a very pretty pattern and delicate look.

Another Ear Warmer.... yet again! :)
I made another Ear Warmer! This one is pink and gray with a button from of off old army pants of all things! :) I also added a few embellishments on this one.
A view of the flower... same pattern as the Poinsettia.
I love using the Lion Brand Wool Blend... it gives a very pretty blend with the colors.
My sister, Havilah is wearing it here- even though it is an adult's size.
One of the tiny, tiny flowers... once again the body of the warmer is the Irish Moss stitch- my favorite!
